GearGrid Corp. (Formerly Mid-Minnesota Wire and Manufacturing)
Since
1921, Mid-Minnesota Wire and Manufacturing, Inc., Forest Lake, MN has designed
and manufactured durable steel tubing and wire products for a
variety of applications. The company continues to offer wire forming to
its customers, fabricating a variety of product solutions, such as Point of
Purchase
(POP) Displays and wire components for OEM's of snowmobiles and ATV's.
In 1991, the company launched the GearGrid line of products aimed at storing
firefighter turnout gear. This was quickly followed by products that store
other firefighting equipment including hose, SCBA (self contained breathing
apparatus) bottles, and air packs.
Given the success of this product line and a desire to brand other storage
related products under the GearGrid brand, the company changed its name to
GearGrid in June of this year.
Other product lines manufactured by GearGrid include Dry Creek Tack Rack
equestrian storage products and Rotobend which provides machinery for
wire forming and cutting for coaters looking to take hook and rack design
and manufacturing in-house.
Gear Grid currently operates a coating system featuring 3 stage pretreatment and
powder coating with both reclaim and spray to waste capabilities
