November Dinner Meeting Report
On November 20th we had a very informative meeting that featured a presentation on paint hook and rack design. Matt Kirchner the CEO of American Finishing Resources gave an overview on the four key elements of coating line management. Matt then introduced Bill Oney, also from American Finishing Resources. Bill went into detail as far as hook and rack design requirements discussing the nine different types of hook/racking designs. Also of interest was Bill’s list of key points for justification of new tooling. Thanks to TC Chapter Board of Director member Angela Kokesh for arranging the meeting program and being present to see that everything went well.
Bill Oney is the current president of the Milwaukee branch of the CCAI. On request at the end of Bill’s presentation, Bill gave us an update on meeting and event activities taking place with the Milwaukee CCAI Chapter.
As a side light, at the conclusion of the meeting, a half dozen service veterans who were present were recognized and thanked for their service to the U.S.A. Army, Navy and Marines were represented at the meeting event.
