FM VICE PRESIDENT GIVES PRESENTATION AT FEB DINNER MEETING
Frank O’Connell was the presenter at our
February 12th dinner meeting held at the Mermaid Entertainment &
Event Center.
Frank came to us well qualified as Assistant Vice President and Chief
Underwriting Technical Specialist, Chemical Operations
for FM Global (Factory Mutual).
Frank’s
presentation topics were right on to our paint & powder finishing industry.
Among the topics addressed by Frank were
losses in paint and powder application installations, coating hazards in
paint & powder operations, and of particular interest
were the videos on a pressure vessel explosion test.
One of the key
points of Frank’s presentation was that “the majority of all losses are
preventable.” Overall, Frank O’Connell gave
an excellent presentation closing with a formula for companies and finishers to
control their own plant safety destiny.

Frank O'Connell was speaker at our February dinner meeting.
