ANGELA KOKESH and DEB SAVAGE RECEIVE AWARDS for 2007-08

 

Angela Kokesh has been chosen as the Chapter User member of the year and Deb Savage has been chosen as the Chapter Supplier member of the Year.

 

                                    

Angela Kokesh has been chosen the TC-CCAI User of the Year for 2007-08. Angela is employed at Life Fitness in Ramsey, MN as a Manufacturing Engineer with the primary responsibility of supporting three separate conveyorized powder coating lines.

 

Angela graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1997 with a BS Degree in Chemical Engineering. Angela also has an MBA earned from St. Thomas University in 2003.

 

Angela began her career at Life Fitness in December 2005. In addition to her duties regarding the powder coating lines at Life Fitness, Angela is also involved with project management, process improvements, process control, waste water management and she also works on a corporate level team regarding finishing related items for Life Fitness on an international basis.

 

 

Deb Savage has been chosen the TC-CCAI Vendor of the Year for 2007-08.
Deb is employed at Valspar and is an Account Manager specializing in liquid
and powder coatings.

 

Deb attended the University of Minnesota-Morris and St. Cloud State University
with an emphasis on chemistry and biology in her studies.

 

Before her recent move to Valspar, Deb started her industrial coating career
 at H.B. Fuller Powder Coatings in 1978. Deb’s duties during included powder
coating formulator, quality control manager, technical/customer service
and inside sales account manager.

 

Since becoming a member of the CCAI, Deb has taken an active role with the
 TC-CCAI Board of Directors particularly on the Membership Committee.
Deb really concentrates on pointing out the benefits of CCAI membership
to many of her industry contacts. Deb has a personal goal of bringing in
an average of one new member per month into the TC Chapter and the
Chapter has definitely benefited from Deb’s efforts. Deb is also serving on a
very important committee that is planning the TC Chapter Minnesota Paint
and Powder Expo in March, 2009.
