NO SHOW POLICY

DINNER MEETING RESERVATION NOTICE

When someone makes a reservation to attend a dinner meeting and then neglects to call in a cancellation and doesn’t show up at the meeting our Chapter is billed for that dinner.

 This “No Show” issue continues to be a problem and based on this situation the TC Chapter reserves the right to charge back anyone making a dinner reservation and is then absent without calling in a cancellation 24 hours before the event date.

E-MAIL POLICY

Mail / Email Problems

The Twin Cities Chapter of CCAI sends more than 500 mailers such as this three times a year.  Over 500 emails are also sent monthly.  There are problems with both.

 Surface Mail - Incorrect addresses/addressees cost the chapter money.  Please let us know:

      1.  If you move or change your mailing address.

     2.  If mail is going to the wrong person, to whom it should be addressed.

     3.  If you no longer wish to receive CCAI mail.

Email – If you want CCAI email and do not receive it, the reason may be:

     1.  Your ISP rejects CCAI mail as spam. This can be overcome be notifying your administrator (or your email program) to accept:  ccatc@charter.net

     2.  Your ISP limits mail size to only 7MB.  When pictures are included in our emails the size can exceed your limit - 15 MB is a more acceptable limit.

     3.  Your mailbox is full.  Check with your ISP to see if the number of messages being held in your box can be increased.

 For problems or to indicate you no longer wish to receive CCAI email, please:

1.  Notify Phil at ccatc@charter.net or by calling 320-230-6282

2.  Send a note to: Twin City Chapter, PO BOX 25611, Woodbury, MN 55125

ANTITRUST REMINDERS

 Meetings are gatherings of members at which the Association’s business is transacted and represent the opportunity to
legitimately further the Association’s goals.  Because an association is, by definition, a combination of competitors,
CCAI meetings must be conducted to avoid even the appearance that members are taking common action, which might
unreasonably restrict trade.

 It is difficult to delineate in a set of guidelines the permissible limits of discussion at an CCAI meeting because so much
is dependent upon the context in which any particular subject is to be raised.  However, to avoid the most sensitive areas
 and meet to transact lawful Association business for the betterment of our industries, please follow these guidelines:

DON’T

1.    Don’t discuss or exchange information regarding:

¨       Prices, distribution, terms or conditions of sale, volume of production, territories or customers;

¨       Pricing methods, policies or changes;

¨       Profits and market share;

¨       Identified individual company statistics, inventories or merchandising methods;

¨       Changes in industry production, capacity, quotas or inventories.

 2.    Don’t undertake activities that will require exchanging or collection of information regarding prices, etc., without the advice of legal counsel.

 3.    Don’t exclude anyone from participating in any activity or communication if such action might impair their ability to compete or obtain goods or services in the market place.

 4.    Don’t try to standardize any product in such a way as to prevent the manufacture or sale of any product that does not conform.

 5.    Don’t discuss orally or in writing anything that could be interpreted as an agreement not to purchase from any supplier.

 6.    Don’t discuss or exchange any information during social gatherings incidental to meetings regarding any of the above matters.

 DO

1.     Follow a formal agenda at all meetings.

 2.     Distribute copies of minutes of all meetings to participants for approval (not applicable to an educational event where minutes do not apply).

 3.     Protest any discussions or meetings that appear to violate antitrust laws and dissociate yourself from any such discussion or activity.

 4.     Upon leaving any meeting that appears to violate antitrust laws, be sure that such removal is reflected in the minutes of the meeting.
