BERNIE WALZ
Bernie lives in Rice, MN with wife Linda. Bernie works in a corporate capacity at Hoffman Enclosures as a Coatings Engineer. Bernie is responsible for working on the standardization of the coating processes throughout all of the Hoffman operations.
As to non business interests, Bernie and his wife have a small farm of exotic animals. Some of the unique farm residents include llamas, miniature donkeys, peacocks, ducks and geese, chickens, ponies and emus. If you didn’t know, emus are flightless birds, but there is a lot more to the emu if you care to look it up or check it out with Bernie the next time you see him.
Bernie has been a TC-CCAI member for one year and as to the advantages of belonging to the TC Chapter of the CCAI, Bernie feels that the greatest advantage is the networking advantages that CCAI offers. Bernie says that he likes to refer to it as his “panel of experts as he doesn’t have all of the answers, but he sure has a lot of people that he can call to help him get the answers.”
